To match candidates even better to our clients, we have been using the DISC methodology since this month.
For example, did you know that a candidate who scores high on red has no interest in long (job) interviews? It should be short and to the point.
A more yellow profile means that someone likes to share and talk. But a little less researching and asking questions. Which in turn can bother a blue profile because a more blue profile wants to be asked a lot of questions.
A more blue profile also wants to know more details about the content of the job, for example.
Thus, a yellow profile may be quite overwhelming for a green person and again not to the point enough for a red person.
What matters is understanding each other's communication style. It gives insight into each other's behavioral preferences and therefore adds value to the recruitment process.
