Calling....

We all speak a little German.
But sometimes those German words have a slightly different meaning.
Bellen has nothing to do with telephoning, like in Dutch.

Calling in German is barking (of a dog).
Do you want to call? Dann rufe ich dich an.

Discussing a job offer in Dutch is therefore just as easy.
Then no details are lost. Just that valuable bit extra.
