Holidays in Germany!

Germany is known to have many holidays. In addition to the standard holidays we Dutch have, such as Christmas, Easter, Ascension, etc., the Germans have other and even regional additional holidays.

An important holiday in Germany is celebrated every year on Oct. 3. On this day, the so-called anniversary of the German Reunification in 1990 is celebrated. This makes this holiday a national German holiday and all Germans have the day off.

It must get busy on the Dutch roads :-)
