MAZE - International processes personal data of candidates and of relations with great care and strict confidentiality, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/AVG). By providing your personal data to MAZE - International (via the website, mail, LinkedIn, XING or otherwise), you agree to MAZE - International using your data in accordance with this Privacy Statement.

2. Collection, processing and use of personal data 
MAZE - International collects personal data only insofar as it is necessary for carrying out its tasks: matching candidates to job vacancies. Personal data may concern potential and current candidates for a position as well as business relations of MAZE - International. 
 
Personal data that are processed are, among others, data from the CV, e-mails, XING messages, LinkedIn messages and letters. We process data such as name and address details, date of birth, education, current and previous positions, ambitions, salary details and interview reports made by our consultants. 
MAZE - International may use personal data at its disposal by sending messages to candidates/relationships by post, telephone or e-mail, or by contacting them personally:
·      to inform about and invite to events,
·      to inform about current positions or gauge their interest,
·      to send newsletters and/or messages,
·      to congratulate on a new position,
·      to consult because of their client specific knowledge requests,
·      to maintain relationships,
·      to inform about news and developments.
 
People can always unsubscribe from receiving messages or indicate that they do not wish to be contacted any further.

3. Retention period of personal data
When a candidate registers with MAZE - International, it is the start of an intended long-term relationship. Candidates in most cases do not change jobs every year, which means that Personal Data is generally available to us for a longer period of time.
 
MAZE - International shall handle Personal Data with care and shall keep this Personal Data safe and secure.

4. Security of personal data
MAZE - International will take the best possible care of the personal data under its management and has the duty of confidentiality with regard to confidential information entrusted to it by the client or the candidate.
MAZE - International uses technical and organisational security measures in order to protect the personal data that we process as well as possible against infringement. Our security measures are continuously improved in accordance with the technological (ICT) developments.

5. Right of access
Individuals whose personal data is processed have the right to inspect and/or obtain a copy of the personal data we process about them.

6. Right of adaptation or deletion
Should the personal data of a person be incorrect or changed, MAZE - International shall correct this upon request.
If an individual states that he/she wishes to be deleted, MAZE - International shall delete this data from all its files. The persons concerned will be informed of this.

7. Amendment clause
MAZE - International reserves the right to modify the present privacy statement in accordance with GDPR/AVG. We therefore recommend that you regularly review this privacy statement when visiting our website.
